My classroom is in need of an electric heavy duty school pencil sharpener.  It will be used many times every single day!  I also would like to have a durable CD player that would be used by students during the Listen to Reading portion of our Daily 5 centers.  This is another item that will get heavy use on a daily basis by 1st graders.  Thank you!

I would love to have these plastic bins for the students' book boxes.  I have been buying cardboard boxes each year but these plastic ones would be studier and will last several years for my class.  It's always been a little too pricey for my own budget.  I would need 2 sets of 12 pack (total of 24) in green color.

Hi! I am always looking for volunteers who would like to help hang artwork at the end of projects. Anyone interested would be welcome to volunteer. I also have a wish list that includes newspapers, magazines (to tear up-kid friendly) and old t-shirts ("daddy" sized). Other items needed: colored markers, sharpies, buttons, tacky glue, wallpaper sample books, recycled plastic containers, cardboard. Thanks!Natalie Hodges, Art, BPES

I would like to have some parent volunteers, who can come up on consistent basis and spend 30 minutes to 1 hour with a small group of kids playing educational games. Ideally I would like to have someone here every day. So if you can help me find a few people who are willing to commit to a schedule (for example Mrs. White – comes every Wednesday at 10:00 for 30 min., Mr. Black – comes every Thursday after lunch for 45 min., etc.) The parents have to be approved volunteers!
